Middle Schools throughout Sonoma, Napa and Marin Counties are offered the opportunity to  to learn how to properly use binoculars. Groups of youngsters typically ages 8-16 can participate.  A thirty minute hands on learning session filled with many helpful tips related to the art and science of observing and listening as well as moving through nature, as a team.  Discovering  unique targets quickly and effectively tests motor skills. The optics training session is followed with a one hour hike to put the practical skills to a test. Sonoma Nature employ the active sport of bird watching, which will test the best of skills.   Idea for groups of 8-12.  Equipment is provided. Contact Sonoma Nature for more information.
